In 2008, Raphael joined award-winning game developer Ubisoft Montreal as narrative director for the next instalment of the storied Far Cry franchise. As part of the core pre-production team, Raphael guided the development of the Far Cry 3 narrative pillars, developed the narrative design, and created the game story.
(Disclosure: Due to personal reasons, Raphael left Montreal to return to Vancouver and did not complete development of the game. As is the often nature of projects, many things have changed over time and the Far Cry 3 that launches this year is the unique vision of the core team that carried the project onward to completion.)
